With special load securing for transporting furniture and cardboard boxes
The vehicles are equipped with three circumferential barred tie-rails. This makes it possible to secure the load quickly and easily with the aid of bar rails – at three different heights – which reliably prevent load slipping. The vehicle can be conveniently loaded using the integrated steps, which can be easily pulled out. An additional boarding aid at the rear also allows fast access for removers.
Particularly light – thanks to consistent lightweight construction
This is where the load capacity plays a decisive role. For large deliveries, especially over long distances, all pieces of furniture and parts should reach their destination in just one journey. This is no problem with our load capacity-optimised body. Especially in combination with the IVECO Daily 35S14, one of the lightest commercial vehicles with rear-wheel drive, impressive payloads can be carried. The structure is based on GFRP sandwich panels, which are doubled with needle felt panels. This is the ideal combination of lightweight construction and a surface that is gentle on furniture.
With well-designed details for particularly easy everyday handling
The Humbaur FlexBox for furniture transport not only impresses with its excellent driving properties, driving safety and simple load securing, the vehicle body is also distinguished by other features such as its aerodynamic design. This ensures low air resistance and thus not only reduces driving noise, but also fuel consumption and, in the case of electric vehicles, increases the range. Integrated park distance control (PDC) aids ensure safe manoeuvring in reverse, warning the driver in good time if something is hidden behind the vehicle.
