Everything checked off – HUMBAUR is certified to the highest level

For HUMBAUR, one of the largest European trailer and box body manufacturers, quality is everything. Permanent improvement and the optimisation of each company process; from the development to the sales and right on to production, belong, as a given, to the company's philosophy. This has now been confirmed by the SGS-TÜV Saar GmbH, because HUMBAUR, after an elaborate screening process, has been honoured with the achievement of the certification acc. to EN ISO 9001:2015 as well as KBA-ZM-A. Therefore it is audited and documented that at HUMBAUR the highest quality standards are adhered to and the relevant requirements of the International (ECE regulations), the European (EU regulations) and German (StVZO) road traffic provisions with regards to the quality management system and the assurance of alignment with production, have been fulfilled. For Ulrich Humbaur, the Managing Director of HUMBAUR GmbH, this is an important step. "In our company very complex processes interact. We are continuously developing ourselves and the certification is the basis for consistency of the high quality of our products. In addition, the award is a trademark for competence, values management and appreciation of our customers, employees and suppliers. And as Henry Ford knew well "Quality means doing it right even when no-one is watching".

The DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 is a Management system standard (High Level Structure), which HUMBAUR has achieved in full. The objective of the certification is to bring transparency into the operational processes and to document meaningful process steps in order to recognise the linked activities and to guide and control them. The employees know exactly which process affect other processes and can therefore be trained in a more target-oriented manner.

A Quality management system (QMS) is the indispensible foundation for a continuous improvement process in the company. However, not only processes are optimised and eventually streamlined; the error rate can thereby also be reduced. The customer is therefore clear that they are working with a modern company which constantly puts itself to the test in order to ensure the quality of its' products and which works hard to always be better. For the employee this also means the securing of their workplaces, because through the certification they can trust that HUMBAUR produces according to cutting edge standards and only brings the highest quality to the market.

Address new target groups

An increase in competitiveness is also part and parcel of the certification. A secured level of quality offers existing customers a high level of reliability and is, in addition, indispensible for the acquisition of new customers resp. the cooperation with larger companies.
