Digital interaction with Humbaur horse trailers

Humbaur to provide its horse trailers with a QR code containing all the information about the trailer.

Your trailer – our service. Humbaur horse trailer owners will soon be able to view all information about the vehicle digitally by scanning a QR code located under this slogan. This will be attached to the inside of the tack room or entrance door of every new horse trailer produced by the Gersthofen-based trailer manufacturer.

Rummaging through a drawer for operating instructions, looking up the maximum payload on the website and scouring YouTube for a video on coupling/uncoupling the trailer – in future, owners of a Humbaur horse trailer can save themselves all these steps and simply and conveniently scan the QR code attached to the trailer instead. This code is clearly assigned to the respective trailer and dealer from whom the vehicle was purchased. With just one scan, you can access a well-organised user interface, including technical data, operating instructions, images and video tutorials.

The portal also allows customers to contact the dealer directly with any service questions they may have. All content is regularly updated by Humbaur so that users are always kept up to date with the latest product information.

“Aside from providing practical access to information, the individual QR codes also offer new opportunities to get in contact with our customers. For example, we have integrated some questions on the user interface that can be used to leave feedback on the respective product. This keeps us very close to our customers and means we can take their feedback and suggestions on board directly,” explains Managing Director Dr Volker Nilles.

To access the product-specific user interface, all trailer owners need is a smartphone or tablet with internet access to scan the QR code. No app installation or registration is necessary.
